Breeder Directory

The PCC Breeder Directory is provided to our members and the public. Our members must adhere to our Code of Ethics. Click here for a copy of the PCC Code of Ethics. The PCC, its officers and board of directors, do not expressly or implicitly give warranty or guarantee, endorse or rate breeders, their kennels or their dogs. The PCC, its officers, and its board of directors do not assume any responsibility for the quality, health, or temperament of any dog. We encourage the buyer to be well informed about the Pug breed by researching as much as possible before purchasing a puppy or dog.  We have compiled a list of Questions to ask a breeder that we encourage you to peruse.

Please visit the CKC for additional information on finding an accountable breeder!

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.” — Josh Billings

For any transaction involving Pugs, you should have a written contract, mutually agreed upon, and signed by all parties involved.  Purchasing a dog is a business transaction and a contract is a means of laying out the terms of the purchase. Contracts should include a health guarantee, return policy, identification of the dog being purchased, information on CKC registration, and support from the breeder.

Beware of purchasing a Pug site unseen, off the internet or local buy/sell lists. Here is an article by the Better Business Bureau to help assist you in making the right commitment to your next family member.
